Honors Digital Video and Editing

Mr. Thomas
Honors Digital Video and Editing is a course designed to allow students to continue to develop and master the art of media and the skills related to media production.
Students will work towards mastery of videotaping and film making skills, editing, on camera performance, interview skills, portfolio development, writing for television, advanced camera operation,vocal acuity,as well as school wide public relations and contact with community and business leaders.

Media students receive a $750 grant from the Brain Injury Alliance of NJ to promote distracted driving awareness

Media students travel to Six Flags to participate in the Brain Injury Alliance of NJ Distracted Driving capstone project
Mr. Thomas and his students take great pride in this award-winning program at Oakcrest. The class and it's students benefit most from the unique hands-on opportunities they get to produce video projects for the school and local community that truly make a difference.
