The photography program at Oakcrest High School is a unique, hands-on elective experience for students that specializes in the introduction to and mastery of photographic concepts and techniques related to the photo industry, art world and their community.

Students will use DSLR photo cameras to capture photographs for class assignments and school functions. The goal of the course is to provide students with the basic skills necessary to create a compelling and authentic visual image and the ability to apply those skills to storytelling and documentation in their own lives.
